Upgrades
Been working on the game upgrades panel. It's a common approach for this style of game: give the player the option to spend any excess resources delivered to the Hub on factory upgrades, most of which boil down to boosting for speed or productivity for various in-game mechanisms.
The interesting one so far is Recipe Runtime. Smaller is faster. This is similar to a crafting-machine speed multiplier but expressed instead as reduced execution time on the recipe itself. At 90% a recipe with a base runtime of 1.0s will execute in 0.9s. I find this easier to think about.
There's nothing related to efficiency so far. Since energy consumption in Middenmoon is a spatial puzzle, not a capacity puzzle, upgrades to efficiency seem less interesting?
Accuracy upgrades might be fun instead. Once the Classifier is unlocked for sorting and recipes with % chance yields come into play, unlock upgrades to improve classification accuracy and reduce waste output.

That's no moon. It's a giant ball of trash!
