Spinward Engineering
Spinward Engineering is a 2D browser factory game focusing on logistics, throughput and performance tuning. Game progression is level-based, requiring a custom design to achieve a goal and pass a final simulation run, Zachtronics-style.
The setting is a space station of the venerable rotating wheel variety which spins to give pseudo-gravity. Resources are supplied by captured asteroids and comets, and are effectively infinite.
You are an Engineer tasked to build plates -- 100m square modular construction platforms that bolt onto the station. Use a mix of belts, pipes, arms, machines, droids and particle beams to turn resources into stuff.
Please note this game is very much still in alpha. The version here is a single level setup as a demo. Early days, placeholder graphics, missing systems etc.
Any recent Chrome-based or Firefox browser should work but I don't have access to Edge to test. For decent WebGL FPS you will need a modern GPU. If the game crashes for you please PM the console log on Discord.
